Numerical Methods in MATLAB for Engineering Students Part 2 is the second part of the numerical analysis course using MATLAB. In this course, you will learn about interpolation and curve fitting techniques. Interpolation and curve fitting are directly used by science and engineering production because every experiment produces data and we need to model these data with mathematics, for which we use Manjani interpolation and fitting techniques. In this course, we will find the methods that are usually taught at the undergraduate level.
In this course, we implement various methods on the computer using MATLAB. Things like least squares regression, polynomial regression, Lagrange interpolating polynomials, Newton’s distributed differences, linear splines, quadratic splines, cubic splines and the implementation of these methods in MATLAB are covered.
