Peter Coulson Photography – Building & Painting a Movable Wall

As you would have seen in many of our videos, Peter has movable walls in the studio on wheels so they can be put in any part of the studio. It has been highly requested that we film a tutorial on how these are made, along with a tutorial how how the grunge cyc was painted to acheive its very distinctive look – and we are so happy to finally share these timelapses showing you!

Materials & Dimensions:

Wall:
12 Timber poles – 35mm x 75mm x 2.4m
8 Hardwood sheets – 2.4m x 1.2m x 4mm
6 Tubes of Liquid Nails
Nails
Staples
3 small wheels placed on each corner

Painting:
Multiple shades of white & gray – matte water soluble paint
Old sponges
Old t-shirts
Brushes
Scrubbers
